Hammonds will soon be electing a new Head of their Leeds office. Simon Miller, who is currently Partner, Solicitor Advocate and Head of Leeds office, will step down and take on the role of Head of Commercial and Dispute Resolution on May 1 2009. His specialist areas to date are Corporate and fraud, Trade and international, Financial services and regulatory. He has also recently acted in a professional negligence case against a City of London American bank. He will step into the role previously held by Lucci Dammone. Mr Dammone will now focus his energies on building up the firm’s banking and financial services profile, in response to the demands of the economic climate. The role will be suitable for Simon who is cited as at \"the forefront\" of the litigation team - Chambers & Partners 2008.
