Hammonds’ High Court Case |
| Simon Miller, Partner, Solicitor Advocate and Head of Leeds office has this week been involved in the High Court Case in which Hammonds are beginning proceedings against eight of its ex-partners. The stakes are high in the case which stands for a £3m profit dispute.
This week, the issue is whether Peter Crossley, the firm’s managing partner, is also implicated by the terms of the case.
Miller is taking the lead in the case in which Hammonds are representing themselves, and has been instructing Alan Steinfeld, QC.
Addleshaw Goddard has taken the majority share of the defence work in the case, instructing Blackstone Chambers’ Charles Flint QC. on behalf of seven out of the eight ex-partners.
